The founding principle of the Strategic Insurance Systems service model, has always been to offer and strengthen a strategic partnership between the Broker and Insurer.
In this regard:

  • We are effectively a General Underwriter with a niche client / broker base underwritten by Mutual & Federal Risk finance.
  • We are a member of SAUMA (South African Underwriting Managers Association).
  • We value and recognise that the client belongs to the Broker and that Strategic Insurance Systems has been entrusted by its Brokers to ensure that they maintain their ability to service their clients effectively.
  • Our unique competitive advantage is the strategic alliance we enjoy with our clients/brokers, wherein they (the Broker) have full control over the service offering and related processes.
  • Our “strategic significance”, i.e. our reason for existence is to ensure that our Brokers are best able to service their clients with the aid of the best (industry leader) computer system (I- Sixty) and technical support possible.
  • Our job as we see it, is to create a “circle of dependency” for the Broker to enable him/her to control the entire service process (i.e. claims, underwriting and accounts) to deliver exceptional service in an accountable and consistent manner.
